The Journal is a highly respected source of technical information and human stories related to the craft of camerawork.

It covers a wide variety of television-related topics, ranging from the technical aspects of camera and lens design to human interest and travelogue. The editor, who is usually a working TV cameraman, is different for each issue. This helps to keep the style and content of each publication lively and fresh.

No prizes for guessing what the letters ZERB stand for - because we're not sure ourselves. In a decision, now shrouded by the mists of time, it was voted that the Journal of the Guild of Television Cameramen should have an eye and ear grabbing title - so "ZERB" was born.
We've included a sample of some of the articles here. They will give a glimpse of what this publication is all about. The screen versions of the pages don't really do justice to the outstanding quality of the printed copy, but you can always Join the GTC and get ZERB delivered to your door for free!
