Did you know the GTC supports industry charities?

Over the years the Guild of Television Camera Professionals, in addition to many of its members undertaking many impressive individual challenges and efforts, has been pleased to support various charities within the industry.

This work on behalf of the GTC – mainly in the form of publicising and promoting fundraising events, mentoring and advice, annual raffles at the GTC Awards day, and inviting GTC members to get involved – increased focus in 2011 with the appointment of a Council position of Welfare Officer, the first incumbent of which was Brian Rose.

After years of hard work, Brian gave up this post although still works hard as a volunteer on a hospital radio station. The current GTC Welfare Officer is Chris Yacoubian.
