16 September 2019
GTC sponsor Panasonic is demonstrating its latest innovations in broadcast technology at IBC 2019, bringing together the best of its new generation Live IP switching solution, 8K ROI camera and 8K organic sensor capabilities with its latest 4K switcher and the brand new shoulder-mount camera AJ-CX4000 supporting 4K/HDR recording and network compatibility.
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of its PTZ camera range, it is also showcasing a wide range of robotic solutions. Attendees will be able to see the latest Panasonic PTZ cameras and controllers in action, covering a wide range of diverse applications.
8K ROI (Region of Interest) multi-purpose camera system
The new 8K ROI (Region of Interest) multi-camera system changes the landscape of broadcast production thanks to its ability to produce four different HD signals from a single 8K camera. The 8K sensor gives a wide-angle, large canvas, out of which four separate “crops” can be generated from the processing unit.
Learn more about how a single operator can control multiple cameras each with several pre-set crops for versatile yet cost effective multi-camera operation.
