Panasonic announces new full-frame box-style mirrorless camera LUMIX BS1H
GTC sponsor Panasonic has announced the release of its new LUMIX Mirrorless Camera BS1H. The LUMIX BS1H is a versatile box-style camera combining the cinema-quality video performance of the LUMIX S1H into the easy-to-deploy box-style profile.
It features a 24.2 MP full frame sensor with dual ISO technology and is aimed at a range of specialised uses, particularly live-streaming, remote and multi-camera video as well as cinema uses. A wide range of recording formats is supported including RAW support for Blackmagic recorders and is said to offer 14+ stops of dynamic range when using V-log. According to Panasonic, the BS1H's colour gamut, known as V-Gamut, is wider than the standard BT.2020 colour gamut.
The camera is available for pre-order now, with an RRP of £2,999 (inc. VAT), and is expected to ship from mid-November.
