Image Forum
Some GTC members may have heard already about the formation of The Image Forum, a new group of industry professionals who are keen to keep quality images at the top of programme requirements across all formats. The GTC will have a voice in the discussions through the presence of GTC Council Member, Martin Hammond, who is now a full member of the new working committee and forum.
A press release is at the final stages of preparation and will be issued next week.
The forum will be publicly launched at the end of November at CamerImage, the XVI International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography in Poland, billed as the world’s largest annual gathering of DoPs. Thereafter, Martin will be on hand to update the GTC membership regularly on proceedings of the forum.

The Guild of Television Camera Professionals (GTC) is an independent craft association predominantly for professional TV, digital and film camera crew designed to support our members by facilitating excellence, education, knowledge and networking in moving image production. The GTC welcomes media professionals internationally across all moving image disciplines as members.
The International Association of Wildlife Film-makers, whose members are professional camera crew earning most of their income from making wildlife films, has been affiliated to the GTC since January 2016.
