Presenter Nick Knowles to speak at GTC Awards 2010

The GTC Awards team is delighted that presenter Nick Knowles has agreed to speak at the GTC Awards 2010 event on 28 September.

Nick will deliver a lighthearted and entertaining account of his experiences working with the camera ... and cameramen ... at the start of the Awards presentation in NFT3 at the BFI Southbank, London.

Nick Knowles is a television presenter for the BBC, presenting a diverse range of programmes ranging from daytime to factual documentaries to entertainment.

His career began as a journalist and from there he’s moved on to present enormously successful shows including DIY SOS (now in its eleventh year), factual shows such as Mission Africa and To the Ends of the Earth, entertainment shows like Last Choir Standing and Who Dares Wins and the ever popular Real Rescues.

Never wanting to be pigeonholed, Nick has embraced a wide range of roles and relishes a challenge. He is currently writing his first novel and screenplay whilst continuing to work on exciting new shows for the BBC.
