I was born in Stamford, CT, USA and grew in Paris and in the South of France, near Cannes and became passionately interested in film and music at a very early age. I began my career working as an Assistant Director on a string of national TV ads. After several other jobs in the field of corporate advertising,I moved on to filming and directing music videos. Over the years I have worked with an extremely wide range of musicians including Van Morrison, Peggy and Pete Seeger, the London Symphonic Orchestra, the Pretenders and Joe Jackson. I have a particular interest in documentaries, featuring chiefly the arts, biographies, history and current affairs. He has directed UK segments of the award-winning Greek Television documentary series War Zone. Other credits include directing the trailer for the Tony Award winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone for its West End debut. I also directed a promo for the British version of the Broadway classic, Hairspray, starring Michael Ball. Since 2009 I have directed the majority of Italian artist, Ludovico Einaudi's video work. Over the years I have worked with a variety of cameras and formats including Canon C300's, Sony F series, Arri Amira, Red Epic/Scarlet as well as most DSLR's.
