The GTC runs many excellent workshops and open days which are free to GTC members and sometimes open to non-members for a fee.
Tutoring at the workshops is by industry experts across a range of subject areas. The programme of workshops is designed to provide an ongoing way of keeping up with new kit, techniques, industry issues as well as fundamental theory and skills. These events are often hosted, funded or supported by the generosity of GTC sponsor companies, for which the Guild is exceedingly grateful.
Forthcoming workshops are listed on this site and booking details are also notified to GTC members and colleagues via email and the GTC Forum to allow plenty of time for diary planning.
The GTC workshops are exceptionally well received by experienced, less experienced camera operators and students alike, as the comments below show. Members regularly comment that just one workshop is worth the annual membership fee alone. See feedback.
See a list of recent workshops run by the GTC plus reports from recent workshops.
The GTC's workshops are currently looked after by John Templeton. Contact John for more details about GTC workshops or if you have an idea for a workshop you would like to attend or run.
