NANLUX and DoPchoice collaborate to create 155 cm Octa 5' Shallow Soft with NL Mount

GTC Patron NANLUX has worked with DoPchoice to create the new SNAPBAG Octa 5' Shallow Soft with NL Mount (SB-O5-NL). This new professional softbox is specifically designed for NL mount fixtures like the popular Evoke 900C, 1200B, 2400B, and 5000B with the goal of creating perfect broad, even, and naturally soft illumination. To achieve this, it has dual diffusers and a large 155 cm/5 ft diameter. The included high-quality eggcrate maintains the beautiful light quality while adding precise directional control. Even though it is wide once assembled, the Octa 5' Shallow Soft with NL Mount is also remarkably compact when folded and fast to set up. Being a NANLUX and DoPchoice collaboration, it is necessarily built with durable, premium materials for demanding production environments.

Broad and Soft Light from a Large-Diameter, Shallow-Depth Softbox

The Octa 5' Shallow Soft delivers broad, soft illumination with smooth, natural falloff. Its custom inner diffuser combines two materials with different transmission levels, significantly enhancing the softness and uniformity of the light. The design also makes the softbox shallower at just 65.5 cm / 2.2 ft depth. This means it is more compact and easier to use in confined shooting environments. The included eggcrate effectively controls the direction and spread of the light, delivering a more controlled light spread.

Fast Setup, Durable Build

The Octa 5' Shallow Soft combines a speed ring, rods, and diffusion fabric into a fully integrated design. Eight rigid rods form a stable internal structure, reducing the risk of deformation over long-term use. The rods have a lock-catch mechanism that allows the softbox to be quickly secured and released, making setup and collapse fast and effortless. To assemble, simply push the rods downward and the softbox unfolds instantly. Collapsing is also rapid and simple - unlock the rods one by one to pack it away, with no extra tools required.

Portable and Packable

The 155 cm Octa 5' Shallow Soft with NL Mount comes with a sturdy carrying bag. It can be quickly stored immediately after it is collapsed, ensuring maximum portability, combined with easy storage and transportation.
