Full-Time, On-Site Kit Room Assistant Vacancy

Electra a facilities company based in Brentford, West London, are looking for a full-time Kit Room Assistant to join its team.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about developing a career in the technical side of television production.

Full training will be provided, with the potential to progress within the camera department.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect filming equipment – van driving experience and a full clean UK manual driving licence are essential.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance on company vehicles.
• Prepare equipment kits and check equipment in and out.
• Clean and maintain filming equipment (camera, lighting, grip, sound) to a high standard.
• Keep all areas — including shelves, work areas, test rooms, lunchroom, and kitchen — tidy and safe.
• Be flexible to work early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekends (rolling rota).
• Uphold company values and maintain professionalism at all times.

Skills & Attributes

• Reside within easy access of Brentford.
• Hold a full clean UK manual driving licence (minimum 1 year experience).
• Basic electrical and vehicle maintenance knowledge.
• Technically minded with a genuine interest in technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and timekeeping.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable, honest, and self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Good understanding of IT systems and software.
• Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
