Bright Tangerine publishes new LeftField Mini System, Updates to the Sony VENICE Range

GTC Patron Bright Tangerine (UK), has updated its product catalogue with the LeftField Mini Baseplate, as well as a range of Mark II accessories for the Sony VENICE.

Downsized, not Downgraded

The LeftField Mini accessories debuted in mid-2025 and have since been updated with extra Riser options for a range of camera bodies. The LeftField Mini retains the quick-release functionality of the full-size LeftField 3 Baseplates, at 60% of the size. Users can find the correct Baseplate and Riser combination for its camera: setting the system to the 15mm LWS standard height.

Additionally, the LeftField Mini offers additional quick-release options with DJI dovetails – allowing users to quickly release cameras from the baseplate. Combining a separate range of Riser Shims and a DJI Receiver, this new ecosystem adds extra convenience for filmmakers.

Sony VENICE Accessories

Bright Tangerine has also refreshed its range of purpose-built accessories for the Sony VENICE 1 and 2. Featuring an extended Top Plate and new Side Ribs, the new VENICE accessories and kits have been redesigned to match with Bright Tangerine’s popular range for the Sony BURANO.
