I am a freelance camera assistant and junior operator based in central London. Experience includes shadowing on Strictly Come Dancing, Dancing on Ice, Crufts and Wimbledon. Previously I was a broadcast technical operator for the UK’s leading shopping channel QVC, with experience in operating ped-mounted, overhead and robotic cameras in live studio broadcast. I have also worked as a freelance camera operator for MotorsportsTV and the National Lottery, which has given me outside broadcast experience. I graduated from a skillset-accredited Film and Television degree at the University of York, where I was trained to use top-of-the-range television studio equipment by industry professionals, including BAFTA and RTS winner Patrick Titley, (Dickinson’s Real Deal, Countdown and Jungle Run). My goal is to continue gaining experience and improve my skills in order to progress onto a wider variety of broadcast television shows.
