Bright Tangerine launches Blackmagic camera accessories, NATO Rails & Create Shoulder Rig

New kits for Blackmagic’s PYXIS and URSA Cine cameras offer convenient rigging options for filmmakers.

GTC Patron Bright Tangerine (UK) has officially launched a number of new universal accessories and dedicated cages for Blackmagic Design cameras. These new accessories all feature Bright Tangerine’s signature quality and versatility: expanding the options that filmmakers have for their camera setups.

Blackmagic URSA Cine and PYXIS Accessories

Bright Tangerine is now shipping a range of accessories and kits for Blackmagic Design’s latest cinema cameras: the PYXIS and the URSA Cine. A mix of purpose- built accessories and universal rigging options for each camera kit allow filmmakers of different skill sets the freedom to customise their PYXIS or URSA Cine.

Create Shoulder Rig

Additionally, Bright Tangerine has launched the Create Shoulder Rig: an alternative to their bestselling KASBAH Ātman. The Create Shoulder Rig has a multi-standard mount for Arca, DJI and Manfrotto dovetail plates – making it compatible with the manufacturer’s new Universal Dovetail – and a magnetic shoulder pad made of EVA foam. These features mean that users can balance their camera on the shoulder rig, and the shoulder rig on their shoulder.

For static shots, filmmakers simply need to transition to the Create Baseplate: a fixed baseplate with 15mm rod support. With the same dovetail compatibility as the Shoulder Rig, cameras can be transferred from different Create setups quickly and easily.

NATO Rails

For quality-of-life on camera rigs, Bright Tangerine now offers a range of universal NATO Rails that can be mounted on any camera system. Coming in both 60mm and 90mm lengths, the new NATO rails add quick-release functionality to any camera setup: with adjustable mounting screws that can fit a range of rigs.
