Filming has taken me all over the world from the UK, Europe to the US. I am a full member of the Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC), which is an independent, international organisation for the profession, as well as an active member of the Royal Television Society (RTS). I currently hold the position of Course Leader and Senior Lecturer delivering taught units to undergraduate students studying BA (Hons) Television and Film Production at The University of Portsmouth. The degree course is a rigorous television and digital film production course. We strive for independent thinking, creative excellence and professionalism in the production of digital short films and television programme making. The course is practical and industry-focused specialising in fiction and documentary genres. The course reflects new technical developments, current industry practices, techniques and protocols. My research activity involves digital cinematography and filmmaking. I regularly produce short dramas and documentaries for festival exhibition & broadcast in collaboration with industry and course colleagues. I am currently working as DOP on a football-based feature film. I am also Steadicam Operator.
