My main interests and skills lie within camera operating & producing – roles within production that I’ve always been passionate about as I enjoy the creativity, organisation, responsibility and people skills that are needed to make a successful production work. My appreciation of film and tv began at a young age from watching nature documentaries and movies. 'Behind the lens' section of these productions interested me the most as it showed how they approached story-telling, set up camera shots and chose locations. This later influenced my career path of working with an award-winning feature film & television production company and freelancing as a camera operator on major TV networks. I freelance as a Producer on independent films and work as a Camera Operator on Amazon Prime, BBC, BT Sport, Canal+, CBC, Channel 4, ESPN, ITV, Sky Sports & S4C productions. This work has often been watched by billions of people, on live TV, world-wide. I've had the pleasure of being a part of some historic events during this time: - ATP Tennis Masters 1000: Rome, Monte Carlo, Madrid, Paris - Autumn Nations Cup - Autumn Rugby Internationals - Badminton World Championships - European Rugby Champions Cup - French Open: Roland Garros - Gallagher Premiership - Heavyweight Boxing - Premier League Football - Pro14 - Six Nations Rugby - The Royal Wedding - UEFA Champions League I'm a former employee of feature film & television company; Red and Black Films. On a daily basis, I was part of an award-winning team, working closely alongside Producer and Director. My role within the company allowed me to broaden my skills greatly within script development, project research, distribution, optioning IP, and connecting with a range of filmmakers & agents across the globe. I was fortunate enough to have worked on several exciting projects during this time: - Assisted the company in their multi-million dollar TV pilot with Universal Studios - Worked on the distribution campaign for a horror movie which generated over $4 million at the box-office - Assisted the company in the world's first theatrical interactive movie/video game - Worked on a feature documentary that includes exclusive interviews with The Foo Fighters, Queen and The Red-Hot Chilli Peppers Now more than ever, my aspiration is to work in the Natural World industry and be a part of a team trying to sustain a cleaner future for our planet. Working alongside the talented wildlife filmmakers who can shape the way we think about our surroundings is a strong goal of mine. I've filmed a variety of wildlife films and sequences which have been shared by: - BBC Springwatch - BBC Wales News - CBC series 'The Nature of Things' with David Suzuki - Footage showcased for PhD Biology research at Massey University, NZ - GTC 2nd Prize Winner of Creative Showcase 2020 - S4C's nature series 'Natur a Ni' [S1.E6] *Over 1 million views on all platforms
