I am a freelance Camera Operator, Camera Supervisor and Director with a vast experience of studio and OB work on all genres of programmes. As well as pedestal cameras I am noted for my Technocrane, Railcam and hot head work and both music, dance, drama, quizzes and comedies. I can also supply and operate Jimmy Jibs. I have Camera Supervised many, many productions from small quiz and talk set ups to many major 20 camera OB's and Concerts. These include shows and events at Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, The London Palladium, The Royal Festival Hall, Edinburgh Castle, Belfast City Hall and many more locations and studios. I was involved as Camera Supervisor, many from the pilot take through to successful series of shows including "Pointless", "In it to Win it", "Catherine Tate Nan Specials", National Lottery Jetset", "dinnerladies", "Two Tribes", "Noels Houseparty". "The Big Spell", "Win your Wish List", An Audience with Barry Manilow" and many, many more high profile shows. Technocrane work includes The GTC award winning "The Sound of Music Live", Andrew Lloyd Webbers "Maria", "Nancy" and "Joseph", "Diamond Jubilee Concert at the Palace 2012" "The Festival of Remembrance", Children in Need Concert 2016" "The Eurovision Song Contest" "Lets Dance for Comic Relief","National Lottery In it to Win It" and the "National Lottery Break the Safe"to name just a few. Railcam, Hothead and Towercam work includes "The Olivier Awards","The Royal Variety Show,, "Live form Edinburgh Castle""EMA's 2015" "So you think you can Dance", "Splash" "Jamie Callum Prom", ELO in Concert for Radio 2", The Paloma Faith Prom", "The Voice of Ireland" "A View From the Bridge", "Kenneth Bragnah's The Winters Tale"and many more. Jib work includes "The Nation Theatre Jayne Eyre", "T in the Park", Pointless", "Two Tribes", "The Big Spell", tributes and the Royal Festival Hall to Don Black, Burt Bacharach and Tim Rice, "60th Anniversary of Eurovision", "All round to Mrs Browns" and "Dara O'Briens School of Hard Sums". As well as London based shows I have regularly worked around the UK and Europe working well with local crews adding my experience to theirs for the benefit of the show. I have good contacts in Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and Cardiff. Using the extensive experience I have built up as a Camera Supervisor I have also Directed a large number of shows. These include several technically complex pilots. Among the shows and series Directed are, "Pointless", "They Think its all Over", "Two Tribes", "National Lottery Secret Fortune", "National Lottery In it to Win It", "National Lottery JetSet", "National Lottery live Draws", "1001 Things you should Know" (Pilot), "Divide and Conquer", Deduction", "Love Table" and many more. The experience I have gained also allows me to help and support new Directors on their early productions.
