Steve qualified as a commercial drone pilot in 2017. He has since started his own aerial media company, Highscope Drones. His portfolio already has credits for Microsoft & Xbox, British Telecom, BBC News, ITV News, Forces TV, the Bear Grylls Survival Academy and many other projects. Steve has Operational Authorisation from the Civil Aviation Authority and the Federal Aviation Authority with public liability insurance. In January 2022 Steve was selected to attend the Veterans in Focus Location Department course at the National Film and Television School. Studying with established location mangers this led him to work for Disney, Marvel as well as Ridley Scott on his film Napoleon for Apple Studios. Steve joined the Royal Marines Band Service (RMBS) aged 19 and studied Percussion and Drum Kit. During his time in the Royal Marines, Steve has had the opportunity to perform at some of the worlds most iconic venues as well as appearing on live television in the UK and around the world. He has also performed for the Royal Family as well as many foreign Heads of State. During his time in the Royal Marines Steve achieved a Bachelor of Music (Honours) Degree in Music and was promoted through the ranks to senior management.
