The Media Production & Technology Show 2024

The Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), announces that registration is now live for the 2024 show. Returning to the Grand Hall of Olympia London from 15-16 May 2024, MPTS will deliver another packed seminar programme featuring exceptional creative talent, expertly curated theatre zones and new events running simultaneously with the exhibition in partnership with SMPTE, BAFTA albert and world leaders in Generative AI.

Following a record-breaking year in 2023, which saw over 300 exhibitors, 100 live sessions and 10,000 attendees from 47 different countries, MPTS invites professionals from across Europe to explore, learn and engage with the latest technologies and hottest trends in production, audio, post, remote production, lighting, sports broadcasting and virtual production from some of the UK’s most inspiring practitioners in the business.

Charlotte Wheeler, Event Director, The Media Production & Technology Show, said:

After six incredible years of MPTS there can be no doubt that this is the destination for the UK’s creatives and technologists to unite and share in the future of the media and entertainment industry. We are thrilled to bring back MPTS in 2024 which will set the stage for a wealth of innovation and creativity after the disruption of the past few months.

MPTS is excited to welcome many new exhibitors for 2024 including Absen, Cinedeck, Nikon, and Shure. Making a return to the show floor, MPTS is pleased to welcome back Blackmagic Design, Elements, ITV Content Services, HHB, HP, Mo-Sys, Newsbridge and Videndum, to name a few.

Visitors can access over 250+ hours of exclusive and free-to-attend sessions across seven theatres including Keynote, Production, Broadcast Technology, Post Production, Virtual Production, Audio and new for 2024, the AI Forum.

Sustainability remains a major focus and receives a special theatre presented once again by BAFTA albert after its successful 2023 debut. Full details of speakers and programme content will be announced in March.

April Sotomayor, Head of Industry Sustainability, BAFTA albert, says:

We're delighted to be part of MPTS again this year to build on the success of the sustainability conference in 2023. This year we aim to empower attendees with the key skills to help transform our industry towards net zero.

Launching at MPTS 2024 is the Media Technology Conference co-produced by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). This unique and invite-only forum will take place alongside the MPTS exhibition and feature keynote presentations, panel discussions and networking designed to cultivate conversation and cross industry cooperation among M&E’s senior technology leaders and decision makers.

If there is one topic no-one can afford to ignore it is artificial intelligence.  NEW for 2024, MPTS is hosting the AI Forum – a 2-day event running parallel to the show and within the Grand Hall giving up-to-the-second insights into how AI is impacting the creative sector.

Further details about MPTS 2024 will be revealed in the coming weeks and information can be found at www.mediaproductionshow.com.
