Vocas accessories for the ARRI Alexa 35

IBC is just around the corner and GTC Sponsor, Vocas is ready to show its new accessories at its booth: Hall 12 — 12.D25. But before the show starts, it wants to give you a preview of what you can expect during IBC 2022.

One of the product lines it is introducing is its line of dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 accessories. These accessories allow customers to use existing universal accessories, such as USBP Sliding System and the newly developed Universal Top Handgrip. 

Top Plate for ARRI Alexa 35

The dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 Top Plate is low profile, lightweight and offers a wide range of ¼” and ⅜” attachment points and in addition to that our unique integrated Level Marker.

If combined with the Universal Sliding Top Handle system (0350-1420) it allows the camera operator a better balancing of their camera while at the same time providing a lower profile.

Camera adapter plate for ARRI Alexa 35

To ensure compatibility with the widespread USBP Sliding System it has designed a low-profile ARRI Alexa 35 Camera Adapter Plate.

This plate is mounted underneath the camera and enables the camera operator to change in an instance (and without tools) between Gimbal, Steadicam, 15mm and 19mm (shoulder) setups.

Universal Sliding Top Handle

Together with the ARRI Alexa 35 accessories it also introduced a new Universal Sliding Top Handle. As its name already implies, the Top Handle can not only be used with the ARRI Alexa 35, but also with some of ARRI's already existing Venice accessories. 

One of the advantages of this new Top Handle, if combined with a dedicated ARRI Alexa 35 Top Plate (0350-1391), is that its low profile.

And due to the sliding mechanism the Top Handle is adjustable in length direction. This allows the camera operator to balance the camera, regardless of the weight distribution on the front- and rear of their setup. While at the same time it does decrease the height of the ARRI Alexa 35 setup significantly.

This Top Handle kit combines its Top Plate for the ARRI Alexa 35 with the Universal Sliding Top Handle system. Thereby allowing improved balancing options for the camera while at the same time providing a lower profile.
